Second Career Society is hosting a Meet and Greet to provide the opportunity for non-traditional networking! No host, no dress code, just a relaxed opportunity to chat with other non-traditional students and attorneys, judges, and non-practicing alumni.

1st Annual Attorney Student Luncheon

SCS is providing an opportunity for non-traditional students to network with and gain career information from alumni with a non-traditional background in various areas of law and non-legal practice. We would love to have you join us for this networking event. If you have your JD but are using it for something other than the practice of law, SCS welcomes you to join us as well.


When: Saturday October 15th, 11:30 am-1:00 pm
Where: Faculty Study, Room 200 Hamline University School of Law
Cost: Attorneys free, Students $15 (Pay to Morgan Gabse Box 219 or Deb Lange Programs Office by 5pm Mon Oct 10th.)

If you are available and would be willing to share your expertise with us, please RSVP to SCS@hamlinesba.com by 5pm Sunday, October 9th. When you RSVP, please include the area of law you currently practice in (or a significant one you have previously practiced in). If you have any dietary restrictions, please in your RSVP email.

Students, when you RSVP, please include any areas of law you are interested in learning more about or networking within.

An opportunity for non-traditional students to network with and gain career information from attorneys with a non-traditional background in various areas of law and non-legal practice. When you RSVP, please include any areas of law you are interested in learning more about or networking within. SCS will do our best to have attorneys at the luncheon in these areas of practice!

Spring 2011 Six-Minute Social

Dear Hamline Law Students:

On Thursday, April 7, 2011, from 5:30 – 8:30 p.m., the Culture Committee of the Alumni Association Board is hosting a Six-Minute Social at Leonard, Street and Deinard (150 South Fifth Street, Suite 2300, Minneapolis, Minnesota).  The firm does validate parking in the Fifth Street Towers parking ramp (located on Marquette Avenue and 2nd Avenue) and the Downtown Auto Ramp (located on Marquette Avenue).
 
The focus of the evening is on Hamline Law students having the opportunity to network with Hamline Law alumni to learn more about various areas of practice or other ways that alumni are using their law degrees.  During the evening, students will rotate among alumni, spending six minutes speaking with each professional.  Food and beverages will be served, and great fun will be had by all!
 
Remember to dress to impress!  (Dress for this event is business casual). Feel free to bring business cards, if you have them.
